UCLA's Men's Pac 12 Hoops Schedule Announced

Written by  UCLA Official Press Release

Bruins scheduled to open Pac-12 play at home during final week of December

SAN FRANCISCO– The Pac-12 Conference has announced home and away designations for each week of league matchups during the 2017-18 men’s basketball season.

UCLA will open its Pac-12 schedule at home for the first time since the 2013-14 season. In fact, the Bruins will play four of their first six games in Pauley Pavilion. Conversely, UCLA will close its regular season with five of its final seven games on the road.

The conference’s schedule announcement reflects the games being played each week and the home/away designation. Specific dates of each game within a week have not been determined, as that information will be released after the televised selections are approved later this summer.

The Pac-12 will tip-off its regular season no earlier than Wednesday, Dec. 27. That week (Dec. 27-31), the Bruins will host Washington and Washington State. The following week (Jan. 3-7), UCLA will travel to the Bay Area to face California and Stanford. The Bruins will return home the next week (Jan. 10-14), taking on Colorado and Utah.

UCLA will play at Oregon and Oregon State during the week of Jan. 17-21 before hosting three consecutive games over the next two weeks – versus California and Stanford (Jan. 24-28) and crosstown rival USC (Jan. 31-Feb. 4).

The Bruins will hit the road to face Arizona and Arizona State during the week of Feb. 7-11. UCLA’s final two home games, versus Oregon and Oregon State, are scheduled for the week of Feb. 14-18.

The Bruins’ final three regular-season games – all on the road – will take place at Colorado and Utah during the week of Feb. 21-25 and at USC during the week of Feb. 28-March 3. The Pac-12 will conclude its regular-season schedule on Saturday, March 3.

The Pac-12 features an 18-game regular season schedule for each team (not every Pac-12 team will play at all 11 conference opponents). This season, UCLA will not host Arizona or Arizona State. Likewise, the Bruins will not play at Washington or Washington State.

Following the final regular-season weekend, the Pac-12 will host its annual conference tournament at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas from March 7-10. This marks the second season in which T-Mobile Arena will serve as the host venue and the sixth year that Las Vegas has been the host city.

Last season, UCLA compiled a 31-5 overall record and a 15-3 mark in Pac-12 play. That was the Bruins’ best Pac-12 record since going 16-2 as the Pac-10 regular-season and tournament champions in 2007-08.

Looking ahead to 2017-18, UCLA’s season ticket packages are now on sale, starting at less than $19 per game. To secure seats in Pauley Pavilion, call (310) 206-5991 or visit
